But for real, feedback lives everywhere. Not just in your formal review requests or your post-project surveys.

It lives in the DMs. The casual coffee chats. The "omg I was just telling someone about you" texts. The 1:1 conversations where someone describes their problem and accidentally hands you the exact language your next piece of content needs.

Every single conversation you have is a data point.

Your best testimonial might be sitting in your inbox right now. Your next content idea might have come up in a call last Tuesday. Your most converting landing page copy might be hiding in a client's offhand comment.

You just have to be listening for it.

Here's what I want you to try out this week -

1. Create a feedback folder. Make a folder in your email, your notes app, your Google Drive, wherever works for you. Every time someone says something kind, specific, or revealing about working with you or their own pain points, it goes there. Save it!

2. Screenshot the casual stuff. The DM that made you smile. The text from a friend who described what you do better than you ever have. The comment on your post that stopped you mid-scroll. Screenshot everything!

3. Start noticing the words PEOPLE use, not the words you use. When a client describes their problem, pay attention to their exact phrasing. That language belongs on your website, in your content, in your emails. It converts because it's real, it's not in your industry jargon, and many many others can relate.

4. End every client project with a structured ask. A simple Google Form with 4-5 questions sent at the end of a project or intensive is one of the highest-leverage things you can do. You'll get testimonials, content ideas, pricing validation, and clarity all in one place.

5. Do a feedback audit this week. Go back through your last 30 days of DMs, emails, and texts. What has someone said about you or your work that you haven't saved anywhere? Go find it. It's probably better than anything you'd write about yourself.
