Reader, your dream client Googled you today - did you show up?

Let me show you exactly how to find out!

1. Open up your Google Search Console (if you don’t have this setup, please do this now, it’s a goldmine of info)
2. Click on ‘Performance’ on the left menu
3. Click on ‘Add filter’ on the right and then ‘query’ - input your core keywords for your offers (Don’t forget to search this in your AUDIENCES terms, not yours!)

What you’re looking at…

• Total clicks: how many people saw you on search and clicked
• Total impressions: how many times you showed up in search
• Average CTR: this is the percentage of people who saw you on search and clicked in (the average CTR is really varies by industry)
• Average position: this is 'where you rank' on search but honestly lots of variables go into this so monitor for growth purposes but don't take this number literally

What this info tells you…

• If your impressions are low, you need more quality and consistent content around that keyword.
• If your click-through rate is low, you may need to tweak your meta title and description to be more captivating.
• If your impressions and clicks are high but conversions are low, you need to make changes to your landing page.
