How to (easily?) make a pivot 🔃

Things are shifting over here a little bit. I feel pulled to burn it all down, but also love what I do and weep at the thought of it all going away.

After 6 years of full-time entrepreneurship, I think we all start to feel the need for a… something.

Our businesses (and ourselves) are constantly evolving. I don’t believe the 7-year itch is just for relationships, it lets nothing get by unscathed!

If you’ve been feeling a pivot coming but are also feeling overwhelmed, I wanted to share the questions I’ve been asking myself that have helped me sort all this out.

Who tf am I?
Okay, loaded question but it is PAST TIME to sit and figure out who we are. As entrepreneurs, our identities easily get tied up with our business. And maybe we don’t need to separate them, but we do need to take a step back and do some major reflecting. Our styles, preferences, and tastes have changed. How can we bring that into what we present online?

What do I enjoy doing?
After enough years under our belt, there are areas of our work that really start to stand out - the things we enjoy doing, the parts we hate, and areas we really excel at. This isn’t you-gotta-niche advice, but from a personal/selfish point of view, what are the parts that you just don’t like to do? Why are we still doing them? We built our businesses to do the things we’re passionate about, so why are we creating offers that don’t bring us joy? By stepping back and evaluating the parts that light us up and the parts we constantly move the due date on, we can reevaluate our offers and determine if we need to bring in some support.

How do I enjoy showing up?
I feel like the biggest cause of the entrepreneur burnout is showing up, being on all the platforms, keeping up with a massive marketing strategy, the endless sales loop. Ugh, the RESPONSIBILITY. When I work with solopreneurs in my 8-week marketing clarity intensive, the entire process is about creating a sustainable-for-them marketing strategy. By leaning into the things we enjoy doing, we can create a consistent marketing strategy that feels easy and sustainable.

How can I break this into super sustainable action items?
Oh boy, the big picture is OVERWHELMING. When you start thinking about a brand refresh, the to-do list IS INFINITE. But remember, all good things take time. If you’re ever feeling overwhelmed about a process, I LOVE to break things down. Send me an email or dm, let’s chat through it together!

Alrighty, I hope that helps you a bit. It's certainly helped me and I feel like things are starting to come together. I can't waitttt to put it all out there for you to see!

In the meantime, I may be shifting, but my support is still the same.
🤝 I have one spot open for an 8-week marketing clarity intensive
🤝 My resource library is always available
🤝 And I'm looking for one more client for full-service or strategy support
